In the San Diego wrap-up, a ATVL favorite was mentioned after his excellent pro debut: Blake Tekotte (Woodstock 06). Blake is listed under "others of note" in the 2007 draft section. (And he was also the subject of an ATVL interview that you can see here.)
His comment: "OF Blake Tekotte (101st overall) hit .285 with six homers and 29 RBIs for Eugene of the Northwest League, despite batting only .178 over his final 10 games. He stole seven bases and scored 43 runs in 47 games."
Ten games is such a small sample size! (And by the way, he had a 4-6 game in those last ten games...) I'm really looking forward to seeing what Blake can do over a full season in the minors.
