Like Aaron Dudley before him, AJ Wirnsberger is also a returning player to the Valley League.

AJ hit 361/417/544, with 29 runs, 57 hits, 16 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs, 35 RBI, 86 total bases, and a 15/30 BB/K ratio in 37 games and 158 at-bats. He finished 2nd in the league in batting average and 1st in doubles (tied with Jared Simon). AJ also produced in both all-star games, going 1-3 in Woodstock, and 2-3 in Waldorf against the Cal Ripken League.
AJ also has been a consistent producer for Georgia Southern. As a freshman in 2007, Wirnsberger hit 287/392/426, with 14 doubles, 4 home runs, and a 20/39 BB/K ratio.
