Just two teams with former Valley Leaguers left in the NAIA World Series- Embry-Riddle and Oklahoma City. Both are still alive, albeit barely...
- Embry-Riddle defeated Belhaven this morning, 8-4. Steve Sabins went 2-5 with a run, and Phil Reamy did not pitch. Tomorrow, Riddle will face the loser of Lewis-Clark and Lee, still to be played tonight. (That is, unless the tournament committee rearranges things, which they can.)
- Oklahoma City lost to Cumberland, 8-1. Brad Riddle threw 2 1/3 innings, and allowed 2 earned runs. OKC will play Point Loma Nazarene tomorrow afternoon.
